Empty legs can be considerably less expensive than a normal charter flight because you would be filling an airplane, or a seat in an airplane, that otherwise would have been empty.  We call these empty legs "MT legs" to remind travelers that they are where you will find your "Minimum Toll" for flights.  If you can structure your itinerary to take advantage of an MT leg you will be doing everyone a favor.  Even at a reduced fare the Operator will benefit because you will be paying for a flight that would not have otherwise generated any income.  You will benefit by the generally lower fares charged for MT Legs.  By flying on an MT leg you will be increasing efficiency of the operator's business, reducing fuel consumption and reducing green house gas emissions.     Use our system and keep broker fees in your pocket.

If you are interested in booking the aircraft you can fill out a Travel Request by clicking on the "Make an Offer" button.  This Request will go directly to the listing operator  via email.  The operator can then send a bid tailored to your specific Travel Request.  The bid will contain the contact information for the operator so you can book the flight directly with them. 

Please note that you don't need to find an empty leg between the exact airports where you want to fly.  For example Let's say you want to travel from San Jose California to Denver, CO but you can't find an MT Leg between those two cities.  You can look for MT Legs between nearby locations and the pilots can make short side trips to pick you up and drop you off.  See the example above with the Citation Mustang.  The operator of this aircraft could drop you off in Denver on their way to Des Moines.  This arrangement would be great for the operator since the aircraft would need to stop for fuel along the way.  They would probably give you a price even less than the offer price because you won't be going the whole distance to Iowa.  Just use the comments box to explain the airports where you'd like to be picked up and dropped off.
