Taxijet.com's Travel Request
Board lists all of the active Travel Requests in our
system. This table is primarily used by aircraft operators to
quickly find Travel Requests that match their aircraft
availability.
A search feature at the top of
the Request Board allows aircraft operators to quickly
search the board to find requests that match their aircraft
availability. The search feature is a simple text search of the
"Routing" column.
Here is a Sample
Request Board. The discussion below describes its
elements:

Aircraft
column: This column shows the category or
categories of aircraft that the Requester selected as desirable
for their trip.
| HC |
= Helicopter |
| PP |
= PistonProp |
| TP |
= Turboprop |
| VLJ |
= Very Light Jet |
| LJ |
= Light Jet |
| MJ |
= Medium Jet |
| HJ |
= Heavy Jet |
You may bid for an aircraft that is not listed
if you feel your aircraft would provide suitable service.
Date
column: The Request Board is
sorted chronoligically with the current date at the top of
the page. Future dates are at the bottom of the
page. Subsequent pages are also sorted chronologically.
To find Travel Requests for future dates click the appropriate page
number just below the Request Baord.
Each line shows one leg of a
Travel Request. For example: The top Travel Request on
the sample Request Board above is a round trip request with the
first leg on Oct 28th and the second leg on Oct
30th. Clicking either of these legs will take you to the
complete Travel Request.
Pax
column: This column shows the number
of passengers (pax) that will be traveling and includes both adults
and children.
Routing
column: Each leg of a Travel Request
has its own strip. Click on the routing or the
adjacent spy glass icon to view the entire Travel
Request. Operators can bid on individual legs
or for the entire trip.
Locations prefixed by an
asterisk such as "(*CUN)" on Oct 29th above are not included in
our database of airports. Currently we only have United States
airports in the database but we plan to include a worldwide database
in the near future. We are able to service international
requests; they just are not displayed properly on the
map.
