A problem exists that makes on demand air travel inefficient. The problem is that thousands of
potential passengers can’t afford the time it takes to find the right
aircraft for their trip so they often give up before they even
start looking. With over 2,300 aircraft
operators and 20,000 Business Jet and Turboprop aircraft in the United
States the task of coordinating the connections of these passengers
with the appropriate aircraft would be a massive undertaking if
they were coordinated. But they are not
coordinated by any central agency. They are controlled by many
independent operators. The challenge of finding a reasonably
priced flight on a charter aircraft is daunting. Taxijet.com
has a system that solves this problem.
It works like this:
- The Requester (Passenger, Travel Agent, Corporate
Travel Specialist or Shipper) enters a simple Travel
Request on Taxijet.com. We ask questions designed to give
operators the information they need to provide accurate and relevant
bids to service your request. A cost estimation table is
incorporated in the Travel Request submission forms to give you an idea
what your trip might cost. There is no charge to submit a Travel
Request.
- Taxijet.com software can instantly send your request to
the email inboxes of numerous Aircraft Operators able to service your
request. Your request will also be posted on our Travel Request Board where
operators can search for requests that match their aircraft
availability.
- When aircraft operators find Travel Requests that match
their aircraft availability they can submit bids / quotes through our
automated system. When we receive a bid/quote that
makes sense for the trip we make a connection between the Requester and
the Operator. You can book your flight directly with the Operator
of the aircraft. You pay the Operator, not Taxijet.com.
We have access to hundreds of empty leg requests and
aircraft availability listings daily. We can find the right
aircraft for your travel needs, quick and easy.
